OH
NO!!!!!
BRRRRRRING!
BRRRRRRRING! BRRRRRRRRING!
"Hello! I'm watching the news right
now, and I cannot believe that it is going to rain again tomorrow!
I need to head out for the morning and I promised my daughter that I would
have some activities ready for you (my baby-sitter), to do with her!
All my games were meant for outside! So, it's up to you to find some
new activities to do inside!!!! I will be gone for about 2 hours
and she likes to stay busy! Hopefully, calling you tonight, will give you
enough time to find some great activities to do with her! See you
in the morning!"
Here's What You need to do!
*When you come to my house in the morning,
you need to have several activities
ready to do with my daughter.
-
Here are some examples of ideas you can do:
*art project (drawing, coloring, painting)
*craft project
*teach her a song
*read her a book
*listen to a book on-line
*play a game on-line
-
Come up with at least 10 different activities
that could last about 15 minutes long. (Don't worry if they last a little
bit longer....but remember, she's only 3 1/2 and her attention on one activity
may not last long.....then again, if she really enjoys something, she may
last longer!)
-
You will need to go onto the Internet to look
at different Web sites to find your activities.
-
You may only use one Web site for no more than
3 activities.
-
You may only use 2 similar activities (ex: 2
song, 2 stories, 2 art projects...)
-
When you come in the morning, show me a list
of the activities, so that I can review them to make sure they are safe
and appropriate for my daughter.
-
Please have a description of each activity.
-
Choose 2 activities to present to me....one
of which, needs to be an arts or crafts project.(Make sure that you bring
the materials, or check and make sure that I have them available her at
the house, for your project.)
Let's Go Singing in the Rain!
Here's a Step-by-Step
Guide to Help you out
-
You will need to start a list of activities
in Microsoft Word
-
Here is a list of Web sites you can
visit: (feel free to use other Web sites you know about). Just click on
them and enjoy your visit.
* Crayola
* PBSKids
* Storyplace
* Lycoszone
* Sesame Street
-
Remember, you can only visit one Web
site per 3 activities. Also, you can have no more than 2 of the same
kinds of activities.
-
After you have at least 10 activities,
with descriptions, on your list, you may chose 2 activities to demonstrate
to me. Remember, one of them must be an arts or crafts activity.
-
In addition to your list of activities,
you will also need to include a bibliography of the Web sites you used.
-
Create a cover page.

feel so much better about linking the curriculum to the internet!
Please refer to the links above to see the
